ProRido operates as a professionally managed chauffeur-driven mobility platform and follows all applicable laws, regulations, and statutory requirements prescribed by Indian central and state authorities. This Legal Notice outlines ProRido’s service standards, safety commitments, and non-discrimination principles to ensure responsible, lawful, and professional operations across all cities where services are offered.

Zero Tolerance Policy

ProRido enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy toward the use, possession, or influence of alcohol, drugs, or any intoxicating substances by chauffeurs operating on the ProRido platform. All chauffeurs are required to comply with this policy at all times while providing services. This policy is fundamental to passenger safety, public trust, and the consistent delivery of professional chauffeur-driven mobility.

If a passenger suspects that a chauffeur may be under the influence of alcohol or drugs during a journey, the passenger is advised to request immediate termination of the trip in a safe manner. In such situations, passengers should seek immediate assistance by contacting emergency services or their local non-emergency support channels. Passenger safety must always take precedence over journey completion.

Any suspected or confirmed violation of this policy should be reported to ProRido through official customer support channels. ProRido reviews all reports seriously and takes appropriate action in accordance with internal policies and applicable legal requirements.

ProRido provides transportation services without discrimination. Services are offered without regard to race, color, national origin, religious belief or affiliation, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, disability, age, or any other characteristic protected under applicable Indian central or state law. All chauffeurs and service partners are expected to uphold this commitment and treat every passenger with respect, dignity, and professionalism.

Fleet Standards and Chauffeur Conduct

Vehicles operating on the ProRido platform are maintained to defined quality, safety, and comfort standards. Chauffeurs are required to follow professional conduct guidelines, safety procedures, and service protocols while operating these vehicles.

Passenger Responsibilities

If you suspect a chauffeur is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, please ask to end the trip immediately, then call 100 or your local non-emergency assistance line.

Please also report any violations of this policy to ProRido at cs@prorido.com as well as the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) at connect-morth@gov.in.
